3.28.10 Perfomance at Northern Lights, Opening for Uncle Kracker and Rehab

With a crowd numbering well over 500, Jared stepped on stage claiming “I’m going to go tune my guitar” at 7:58pm. By 8:02 pm every head in the audience was bobbing to the sound of Jared play unknowingly. There comes a moment in everyones life where they find out if they are really meant to be where they are, and everyone knew Jared belonged on that stage. Knowing Jared and having seen him play on multiple occasions it was as if everything just clicked in his head, and the music was all that mattered. He loved being in front of a large crowd and the crowd loved him just as much. During each song the crowd was quiet as if they were being respectful during a classical overture, and when the song was over they erupted in a roar of claps and whistles. It can only be compared to the phenomenon you will see at performances by some of the worlds best guitar players, and even though it was on a smaller scale, it was magical to witness.

Jared’s song, “Everything” has been evolving in live performances and in the studio for quite some time and is the second oldest song on the debut album, “You Are The Sun”. “Everything” was sent to a local radio station, 102.7 WEQX as part of a three song album pre-release, and was chosen to be distributed to the masses on their local artist show, EQX Posure. Since it’s debut on EQX Posure, “Everything” has made the show three more times, and played in the morning “Local At Eleven” once. Rumor has it that Jason Irwin, the host of EQX Posure, may be planning to release the next Jared Funari single to the masses soon. Stay tuned, EQX Posure is on the air Sundays at 7PM weekly.
