3.28.10 Perfomance at Northern Lights, Opening for Uncle Kracker and Rehab

With a crowd numbering well over 500, Jared stepped on stage claiming “I’m going to go tune my guitar” at 7:58pm. By 8:02 pm every head in the audience was bobbing to the sound of Jared play unknowingly. There comes a moment in everyones life where they find out if they are really meant to be where they are, and everyone knew Jared belonged on that stage. Knowing Jared and having seen him play on multiple occasions it was as if everything just clicked in his head, and the music was all that mattered. He loved being in front of a large crowd and the crowd loved him just as much. During each song the crowd was quiet as if they were being respectful during a classical overture, and when the song was over they erupted in a roar of claps and whistles. It can only be compared to the phenomenon you will see at performances by some of the worlds best guitar players, and even though it was on a smaller scale, it was magical to witness.
